Background Information
Our office is a state-of-the-art facility using modern technology including the use of in-office cone-beam (CBCT) imaging. Dr. Olsson and Dr. is an experienced and well-respected surgeon who has been in practice for more than 25 years. He is board-certified by the American Board of Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery and is well-known and highly-respected nationally and internationally.
As a Oral and Maxillofacial Surgeon, Drs. Olsson and manage a wide variety of problems relating to the mouth, teeth and maxillofacial and craniofacial regions. Drs. Olsson and practice the full scope of Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery with expertise ranging from dental implant surgery and wisdom tooth removal to corrective orthognathic jaw surgery. This also includes techniques designed to rebuild bone structure with minimal surgical intervention and optimal patient comfort.
Surgical Staff
The surgical staff at Northwestern Oral & Maxillofacial Surgeons, PC are experienced, certified Oral and Maxillofacial Surgical Assistants (OMFSA), who assist in administration of IV sedation and surgery. We also have a trained registered nurse (RN) to assist in surgery. All staff are informed administrative personnel, well-versed in health and insurance policies, and are CPR certified.
Billing Department
The office does not accept insurance and Dr. Olsson is an out-of-network provider. As a courtesy, the office can submit a claim to your insurance with the exception of Medicare & Medicaid. We have a billing manager who is responsible for billing and collection, and can assist you in 3rd party payment issues.
Resident Education and Training
Dr. Olsson and Dr. are actively involved in the education and training of future Oral and Maxillofacial Surgeons, and, as a result, maintain a contemporary practice utilizing the latest advances in medicine and dentistry for the diagnosis and management of a variety of conditions including dental implant placement and orthognathic surgery.
